Testimonials

Thank you so much for everything you did for me throughout my experience! I truly believe yesterday gave me a confidence in myself that I never ever would have gained without you or the program, and that is worth more than the world to me. Thank you so much!
-Kati Myers, Class of 2011 Participant

Participating in this program was a wonderful experience. I never did anything like this before, and I am very thankful that I got the chance to give it a shot. Although I didn't "win" I still feel like I won because I was brave enough to get up on stage and show everyone what I'm really made of. This program wasn't too much to deal with; even though I have a lot of homework and a job I was able to manage it into my schedule. And in the end, all the hard work definitely paid off: it was tons of fun, and I got to meet lots of friendly new people.

This is not only is an awesome scholarship opportunity, it is also a very fun experience which allows you to meet so many wonderful girls. The Greater Baltimore program has introduced me to numerous inspiring individuals and opened doors for me that will be with me for the rest of my life. This program also teaches life skills such as public speaking and presence. The program was coordinated flawlessly; I never had any doubts as to what was going on or what needed to be submitted from me. Whenever I had a question, I got an answer right away. To any prospective contestants: this program is like no other. I highly recommend participation - I am sure that you will be glad that you did! It is an experience of a lifetime and I feel blessed to be able to be a part of such a wholesome program.

I just wanted to let you know what a great job you did with the program.  My husband and extended family felt that this was a first class event, very professional and I commend you for your hard work.  Even though Chelsea did not win anything, she learned a lot from the experience and very much enjoyed herself. I admire all these girls with their poise and confidence. Thank you again.
-Vivian Schafer, Mother of 2010 Participant Chelsea Schafer

As a mother, I have to say that this program has been a wonderful experience for everyone! It has given my daughters confidence I am not sure they knew they possessed and has broadened their entire thought process by preparing for them for interview and anticipating questions they may be asked by the judges. This is the most well-rounded program I have ever been involved in and the most organized and most friendly group of people I have worked with in a very long time. I encourage any and all young girls to participate in this program during their junior year of high school.
-Debbie Snyder, Mother of 2010 participant Kristi Snyder and 2011 participant Ashley Snyder

I would personally like to thank you for inviting RSM McGladrey to be the official auditors for the 2009 program. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it was nice to see young women taking an initiative in bettering themselves.  I’m most likely not the first or last person to tell you this, but you did a fantastic job with planning, logistics, and coordinating the whole program. Again, I was very pleased with the event and because of that, would like to stay involved and offer my services wherever possible. Congratulations and thanks again!
-Andrew Kehl, RSM McGladery (Auditor for 2010 Program)
