Distinguished Young Women of Greater Baltimore
Founded in 1958 in Mobile, Alabama, Distinguished Young Women (formerly America's Junior Miss) is the largest and oldest national scholarship program for high school girls. It has provided life-changing experiences for more than 200,000 young women and more than $3.3 million in cash scholarships at the National Finals alone, and more than $92 million at local, state and national programs combined. Distinguished Young Women strives to give every young woman the opportunity to further her education and prepare for a successful future. The Greater Baltimore program is open to residents of Baltimore City and Baltimore, Harford, and Cecil Counties, Maryland.
